Argo Group is seeking a highly capable Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment with an estimated end date of October 9, 2026. The role can be performed in-office or remotely, and you will adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims for clients in the states of SC and VA.

The assignment requires strong claim management, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently to deliver favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in SC and VA jurisdictions.
• Bachelor's degree required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• SC license required at start of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims under limited direction.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly; interview involved parties.
• Analyze forms, policies, endorsements, and instructions to determine coverage.
• Manage claims in litigation and coordinate expert resources for resolution.
• Prepare reports and negotiate settlements to achieve favorable financial outcomes.
