Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a highly capable Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment with an estimated end date of October 9, 2026. The role supports claims across SC and VA and can be performed in-office or remotely from anywhere in the United States.

The position requires advanced adjudication expertise, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in SC and VA.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; additional designations or years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• SC license required at start of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly.
• Analyze forms, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage.
• Prepare reports and communicate with insured/claimant and other parties.
• Negotiate settlements and contribute to best financial outcomes.
