- Serve as a strategic liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Information Systems, and business operations
- Resolve complex break-fix issues and perform routine application maintenance
- Monitor integrations and system performance and troubleshoot configuration, security, and workflow challenges within Workday and UKG
- Support application upgrades and releases, validate business processes, and test new functionality
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Information Systems, and operational leaders to identify process improvements
- Lead complex application initiatives and coordinate projects across multiple applications
- Develop, implement, configure, optimize, maintain, and support enterprise-wide Workday and UKG applications, integrations, workflows, reporting solutions, and configuration enhancements
- Analyze and translate business requirements into efficient, scalable application solutions
- Perform quality assurance and integrated testing of enhancement requests, upgrades, releases, and new functionality
- Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and project managers on automation and workflow optimization
- Develop technical documentation, workflow diagrams, testing plans, and implementation documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and promote operational best practices
- Provide 24/7 support for assigned applications as part of an on-call rotation when required
Requirements
- 1–2 years of project management experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Workday, UKG, or other Human Capital Management (HCM) applications required
- Experience configuring, implementing, optimizing, and supporting Workday and/or UKG applications preferred
- Strong understanding of Human Resources, Payroll, Timekeeping, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Workforce Management, and employee lifecycle business processes preferred
- Experience supporting application integrations, system interfaces, reporting, security, and data validation preferred
- Ability to analyze and translate operational and business workflows into effective enterprise application solutions preferred
- Strong experience using Microsoft Visio for workflow documentation, process mapping, and implementation planning preferred
- Experience collaborating with operational leaders and end users to identify and implement workflow improvements preferred
- Hybrid background in Human Resources, Payroll, Information Systems, or enterprise business applications strongly preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Workday and/or UKG Certification required within six months of hire if not already certified
- Current Workday or UKG certifications in HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Integrations, or related modules preferred
