Job summary

Groundswell is a premier technology integrator delivering Workday HCM solutions to government clients. The Workday Solution Architect will lead architecture across deployments, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with requirements while guiding delivery teams.

Candidates must have TS/CI clearance or be eligible, and hold a STEM degree with Workday HCM certification. Located in the Washington, DC area with onsite work 3-4 days/week and some DMV region travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
Workday HCM Certification required; additional Workday certs preferred.
10+ years’ experience implementing Workday/ERP applications.
Experience leading 3+ Workday deployments from planning through go-live.
Experience leading delivery teams.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
In-depth knowledge of system architecture principles and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Design Workday and comprehensive HCM solution architecture in large or complex programs.
Provide expertise for delivery staff on software design and system architecture.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including consultants, BAs, SMEs, developers.
Drive design and development reviews of customer applications.
Test, troubleshoot, and optimize customer applications.
Identify performance bottlenecks and propose improvements.
Support sales and delivery discussions on architecture and interoperability.
Deliver deep-dives, demonstrations, and customer training.
