Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior People Operations and Systems Generalist to own Workday processes and data integrity within a fast-growing team. You’ll translate business needs into configurations, drive semi-annual Workday releases, and partner with internal systems on large projects.

You’ll also stand up lightweight tools to close gaps and build fast, compliant People Ops solutions. The role requires 5+ years in People Ops or related systems, strong Google Sheets skills,

Qualifications

• Deep functional expertise in Workday HCM with end-to-end process ownership.
• Comfort translating business needs into requirements and tests.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted, no-code/low-code tools to build lightweight solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in People Ops or systems-adjacent teams at fast-paced, scaling orgs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional Workday expert for the People Ops team from requirements through configuration and rollout.
• Lead semi-annual Workday releases, identify simplifications or automations for processes.
• Partner with Workday Product Analyst on larger technical projects and integrations.
• Stand up simple tools within the team to close process gaps and escalate true development when needed.
• Prototype and build People Ops tools using Lovable and Claude for rapid solutions.
