Job summary

Lyric is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to oversee end-to-end payroll for a multi-state employee population in a remote US role. You will partner with HR, HRIS, and a third-party provider to ensure accurate payroll processing, tax filings, and data integrity in Workday.

The role requires 5+ years in full-cycle payroll, 3+ years Workday Payroll, and strong collaboration and communication skills to support diverse stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in full cycle payroll processing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• Ability to build partnerships and effectively work with internal customers at all levels in the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the third-party provider responsible for payroll processing and payroll tax filing services.
• Manage biweekly and semimonthly payroll processing for approximately 450 employees.
• Serve as the Workday Payroll subject matter expert and lead payroll-impacting configuration activities.
• Drive cross-functional partnership with HR, HRIS and Finance to resolve payroll issues.
• Perform recurring payroll audits and reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and resolve.
