Job summary

Mainz Brady Group is seeking an experienced Senior Workday IT Engineer to lead design, development, and support of enterprise Workday solutions. You will partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable Workday capabilities.

You will own Workday security, integrations, reporting, Extend, and technical architecture, mentor developers, and drive automation and governance to meet SOX and IAM requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Workday technical experience.
• Expertise in Workday Security, Studio, Extend, EIB, Reporting (Report Writer & BIRT).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and XML/XSLT/JSON.
• Experience IAM integrations and SOX controls/compliance.
• Experience designing and supporting Workday integrations with external systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile or enterprise software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday solutions across Security, Integrations, Extend, Reporting, and Business Processes.
• Lead Workday Security administration, RBAC, SoD, SOX, audits, and IAM integrations.
• Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, REST/SOAP APIs, and related tech.
• Develop custom applications using Workday Extend to enhance capabilities.
• Create advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics with Report Writer and BIRT.
• Design and optimize Workday business processes and workflow automation.
• Develop, test, deploy, and support software applications and integrations across systems.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
• Train end users on new functionality, reporting tools, and system enhancements.
