Job summary

Workday in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior or Principal Technical Consultant to design, develop, and deploy Workday integrations for State & Local Government. You will lead delivery of data conversion, integration, and reporting workstreams on implementation projects.

Collaborate with client teams, run discovery sessions, mentor colleagues, and ensure knowledge transfer for post‑production success while upholding Workday’s standards for quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with Workday Integrations, OR
6+ years of Human Resources, Payroll, Financials, Integrations, or Reporting domain experience in a public sector setting AND 3+ years of experience in a technical role, OR
6+ years of experience with integration workstream ownership and development

Responsibilities

Lead and project manage integration workstream(s), hitting delivery dates and driving results
Conduct discovery sessions to develop and document a thorough understanding of customers’ integration needs
Design and implement integrations to address complex customer and vendor requirements
Assist customers in testing integrations and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure post‑production success
Participate in internal initiatives and process improvement
