Job summary

Motion Industries in Birmingham, AL seeks a Workday Sr. Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio) and own the full integration lifecycle in a fast-paced HRIS environment.

You will work with internal and external resources, resolve complex integration issues, document artifacts, and develop test cases while ensuring compliance with technical standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with Workday HCM integrations (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting).
2+ years of experience with Workday integration types including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
2+ years creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
2+ years integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
Good understanding of Workday security.
Experience with document transformation, XSLT, XPATH, etc.
Strong communication with internal/external resources; proactive collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
Support existing integrations.
Resolve integration issues requiring in-depth Workday expertise.
Demonstrate integration experience in HR domains (Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting).
Provide documentation and artifacts for each phase of the development life cycle.
Develop test cases and peer review code of other developers.
Provide production support and respond to issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with technical best practices, standards and HRIS policies.
Other duties as assigned.
