Job summary

Qualifications

  • Transform data with XSLT 3.0 to meet external format requirements.
  • Perform document transformations between Workday data and other formats.
  • Troubleshoot, support, and improve integration performance and stability.
  • Configure security and participate in Workday release cycles and maintenance.

About the Role

Ownership of the hire-to-retire lifecycle in Workday.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle from hiring to retirement within the Workday platform.
  • Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive Workday product launches.
  • Continuously elevate the employee experience and optimize interactions with Workday.
  • Represent the Workday platform across the landscape of HR applications.
  • Partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs.
  • Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday functionality.
Core Responsibilities (MUST)
  • Integration Development: Designing and developing integrations using various Workday tools, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and primarily Workday Studio.
  • Data Transformation: Utilizing XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations), often specifically XSLT 3.0, to transform XML data from Workday into the format required by external systems, and vice versa.
  • Perform Document transformations: Create and manage the transformation of data between different formats (From Workday's internal structure to a flat file, JSON, csv, delimited files or another system's format).
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and system stability. Working on complex studio designs and suggest improvement pointers from performance point of view.
  • Security & Maintenance: Configuring security groups and policies for integrations and participating in bi-annual Workday releases and updates along with annual maintenance check lists.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience implementing or managing solutions in Workday.
  • 4+ years experience configuring Workday HCM, with demonstrated technical experience.
  • 2+ years experience supporting other Workday products (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning).
Required Skills
  • Deep HR domain expertise and ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
  • Able to thrive in a complex & technically ambiguous environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Extensive experience in handling Workday solutions along with program level solutioning and effort estimation.
  • Proven expertise in configuring Workday Human Capital Management and integrating with multiple applications end to end including post production support including complex Studio builds.
