Job summary

Core Laboratories Inc. in Houston is seeking a Senior HRIS Specialist (Workday) to serve as the company’s Workday subject matter expert.

You will administer, configure, and optimize Workday and related HR technologies to support HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and leadership. The role leads HRIS projects, releases, reporting, integrations, and governance, designing scalable solutions to improve data integrity, compliance, and the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or Computer Science.
• 5–7 years of progressive HRIS experience administering, configuring, and supporting enterprise HR systems.
• 4–5 years of advanced Workday experience with deep expertise in at least one functional area.
• Experience leading HRIS projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven Workday configuration, reporting, integrations, and EIBs.
• Experience supporting a global workforce and multi-country HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Workday functional expert and primary escalation point.
• Lead day-to-day HRIS operations, ensuring system reliability, security, data integrity, governance, and compliance.
• Analyze complex requirements and design scalable HR technology solutions.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT to identify process improvements and improved user experience.
• Lead Workday releases, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Serve as SME for Workday processes, security, reporting, integrations, and EIBs.
• Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics for decision-making.
• Establish HRIS governance and audit practices with regular data reviews.
• Create documentation and training materials; mentor HRIS staff.
• Lead HRIS projects from requirements through post-implementation support.
