Qualifications

Senior Workday (HRIS) Analyst, Time Tracking - Denver, CO / Austin, TX / Miami, FL

The Senior Workday (HRIS) Analyst works within the People Technology team and supports global Western Union for Time Tracking and other modules as needed. Willingness to learn payroll support. This role is responsible for building and maintaining Workday configuration, system administration, using Software Development Lifecycle methodology.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Provide HR system administration, including business process configuration, reporting development, end-user training, and data management in support of maintaining Workday as a best-in-class employee experience platform.
  2. Partner with other Workday team members, IT, business partners, vendors, and business leaders to effectively meet the HR technology needs of the organization.
  3. Configure complex Workday business processes with a focus on Absence, Time Off, Time Tracking, and Payroll, plus other modules as needed.
  4. Perform additional Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, integrations, and reporting.
  5. Review business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify Workday features that may improve efficiency.
  6. Work within Sandbox environments and an established, controlled systems environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  7. Provide pre- and post-launch end-user support, change management, issue resolution, testing, and training to optimize Workday processes.
  8. Document technology specifications for current and future configurations.
  9. Maintain accurate change management documentation to satisfy audit controls and compliance practices.
  10. Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and apply it to all projects.
  11. Support feature releases and issue resolution, define scope, prioritize, plan, and implement system changes and enhancements.
  12. Maintain functional knowledge of HR and HR systems across functions and teams, fostering community collaboration and support service excellence.
  13. Engage with Workday Community, User Groups, and Conferences to foster ongoing relationships.
  14. Support business partners and enhance their understanding of Workday.
  15. Other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
  1. 2+ years of Workday HCM experience; Workday Pro or Certifications are a plus.
  2. Solid understanding of Time Tracking and Core HCM; willingness to learn payroll and other modules such as Absence, Time Off, Compensation, Talent, Learning, Payroll.
  3. Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  4. Knowledge of Workday business processes and core setup.
  5. Deep understanding of Workday data model, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures.
  6. Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  7. Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
  8. Experience with EIBs for data load and testing integrations.
  9. Ability to create reports and audit configurations.
  10. Experience in a global company environment.
  11. Ability to work in a ticketing environment; ServiceNow experience preferred.
