Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Workday Engineer to configure, develop, and test Workday HCM and integrations in a hybrid role. You will partner with internal teams and third‑party integrators to deliver enhancements across modules and ensure quality through automated testing with Kainos.

Strong Workday implementation experience, architecture knowledge, and comfort with Agile processes are essential. A related technical degree and SQL/SOQL proficiency are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Workday certification in one or more areas is preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration.
• 4+ years of implementation experience in Workday HRMS and Workday Integrations.
• Knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio and BIRT.
• Experience in leading full lifecycle Workday implementations.
• Experience with SQL/SOQL and web services (SOAP/REST).
• Experience with test strategy, plans, and defect reporting for HR systems.
• Ability to communicate status and risk clearly and work in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Workday enhancements to support existing implementations, both functional and technical.
• Collaborate with internal Workday teams and business users, including 3rd party integrators.
• Participate in design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and analysts.
• Build scalable test automation using Kainos.
• Contribute to code reviews and diagnose quality issues through resolution.
• Create test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.
