Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Engineer with Workday HCM expertise to join our hybrid Indianapolis area team.

You will configure, develop, and test Workday functionalities and integrations, and apply testing automation using Kainos and related tools. Responsibilities include delivering Workday enhancements, collaborating with internal Workday teams and business users, and guiding test strategy, plans, and execution across the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications

Workday certification in one or more areas (HCM Core/Benefits/Compensation/Payroll).
In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration.
4+ years of implementation experience in Workday HRMS and Workday Integrations.
Experience with Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio and BIRT.
Knowledge of SQL or SOQL and web services (SOAP/REST).

Responsibilities

Deliver Workday enhancements to support our existing Workday implementation, covering both functional and technical aspects.
Collaborate with internal Workday teams and business users to understand business requirements, including working with 3rd party integrators.
Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts.
Build test automation that is effective, scalable, and maintainable using tools such as Kainos.
Participate in and contribute to code reviews.
Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.
Ensure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and is responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.
