Job summary

Acrisure, a global fintech leader, seeks a Senior Systems Accountant with hands-on Workday Finance expertise to maintain and enhance our Workday environment. You will be a daily resource for issue resolution, configuration, and end-user support, combining accounting knowledge with Workday skills.

You will collaborate with Accounting and Finance to analyze problems, document requirements, and deliver Workday Finance solutions, including testing and training.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Workday Finance including security roles and business processes.
• Strong accounting knowledge across GL, AP, AR, and financial close cycles.
• Familiarity with system integrations, API concepts, ETL processes, and change management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and configuration of Workday Finance with security roles and user setup.
• Serve as a functional SME for Workday Finance across GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to analyze problems and document requirements.
• Develop business requirements, test scripts, and training documentation for Workday projects.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with IT or SAP.
• Monitor interfaces and data flows between Workday and upstream/downstream systems.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve accounting processes within Workday.
• Support Workday upgrades, biannual releases, and new modules; assist with regression testing.
• Participate in UAT and ensure changes meet accounting requirements.
• Create SOPs, user guides, and provide end-user training on Workday functionality.
• Support data governance and perform data quality reviews in Workday ecosystem.
