Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Senior Workday Technical Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and support of the Workday ERP platform across SCM, Finance, HCM, and Payroll. The role emphasizes scalable, secure solutions, real-time and batch integrations, and Extend applications to meet complex business needs.

You will collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and Operations teams, mentor junior engineers, and help drive AI/ML enabled automation and analytics within Workday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 7+ years in enterprise ERP technical roles.
• 4+ years supporting Workday across modules SCM, Finance, HCM, Payroll.
• Strong experience with Workday integrations and technical frameworks.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect.
• REST APIs, SOAP, Workday Web Services.
• Workday Extend and UI Framework experience.
• Workday Orchestrate for end-to-end automation.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms or services.
• Experience with large-scale ERP implementations or transformations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure Workday solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Build and maintain Workday Extend applications to meet business needs.
• Support Workday Orchestrations to automate cross-system processes.
• Develop Workday integrations using Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and middleware.
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews to junior engineers.
