Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Senior Workday Business Analyst to bridge HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT within the Workday HCM ecosystem. You will translate business needs into workable solutions, run discovery sessions, shape requirements, and guide projects through testing and go-live.

The role requires strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to drive results without formal authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst.
• 3+ years hands-on with Workday HCM and related modules.
• Experience supporting Workday testing, from planning through defect tracking and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-between for business stakeholders and technical teams on Workday initiatives.
• Run requirements-gathering sessions and workshops across HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Talent.
• Turn business needs into clear specs, user stories, and process documentation.
• Review current processes, spot gaps, and recommend better ways of doing things.
• Guide testing cycles, from planning through UAT and defect resolution.
• Keep documentation current, including requirements and test scripts.

Our client, a large, multi-function organization, is looking for a Senior Workday Business Analyst to own the connection between HR, Payroll, Finance, and technology teams within their Workday HCM ecosystem. You'll be the one turning business needs into real, workable solutions — running discovery sessions, shaping requirements, and guiding projects through testing and go-live. It's a role built for someone who can move fluidly between technical and non-technical audiences and drive results without needing formal authority to do it.

Compensation : $100-115K based on experience

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Need to be Considered

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, HRIS analyst, or similar, supporting enterprise systems
• 3+ years hands-on with Workday HCM and related modules
• Background supporting Workday testing, from planning through defect tracking and UAT
• Experience working across HR and IT teams in a large, multi-function environment
• Workday certification or formal training (preferred)
