Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will lead client engagements, drive successful implementations, and mentor teams while shaping our advisory practice.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and optimize planning models, manage integrations, and deliver value for complex financial planning initiatives. A strong background in FP&A and Workday is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Minimum of 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL, with ability to understand, troubleshoot, and support data integrations and system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment, within scope, timeline and budget.
• Facilitate client working sessions to understand business processes, planning requirements, reporting needs, and metrics.
• Manage Workday Adaptive Planning engagements as solution lead, guiding model design, security, reporting, and planning features.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models including sheets, versions, dimensions, security, dashboards, OfficeConnect.
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other enterprise apps.
• Lead integration design using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other platforms to incorporate data from ERP and source systems.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure solutions align with client requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies to improve financial insight.
• Manage project risks, issues, resource assignments, and client expectations.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and build trusted relationships throughout engagements.
• Mentor and coach team members and support their development.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations, scoping, and thought leadership for business development.
• Contribute to development of methodologies, reusable assets, and practice best practices.
• Stay current on Workday Adaptive Planning product enhancements and trends.
