Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will deliver implementation workstreams, build forecasting models, and counsel clients on finance process improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior consultants, and help clients optimize planning, reporting, and data integrations across ERP systems using JavaScript and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems preferred.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A or financial systems or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL and other integration platforms to incorporate data from ERP systems into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience required.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting and reporting, with FP&A exposure preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Workday Adaptive Planning implementation workstreams; maintain high-quality deliverables and meet timelines.
• Facilitate client sessions to map business operations and define planning goals and metrics.
• Build and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Support the implementation process from configuration to testing and optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC and other platforms.
• Automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data compilation time for analysis.
• Provide training to client teams on tools and systems.
