Job summary

PG&E is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate and assemble work and resource plans aligned with the budget. The role monitors weekly and annual execution of the work plan by Electric Operations Transmission teams and identifies opportunities to improve processes and data quality in work management systems.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and participation in PG&E discretionary incentive programs. Location is San Luis Obispo, CA, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of job-related experience with steady progression of responsibilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Desirable: utility industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to analyze data from several sources and present business impact.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates issues and develops innovative solutions to enhance controls and mitigate risks.
• Leads peers and stakeholders to develop a prioritized and optimized long-range and annual work plan portfolio.
• Leads, tracks and reports on work progression; supports region to achieve efficiencies.
• Ensures effective work and resource planning and scheduling for the service territory; aligns resources with budget.
• Develops contingency plans for the portfolio of work in annual and long-term plans.
• Presents findings and recommendations to management; manages cross-functional projects and teams.
