Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Resource Management Business Planning Manager to lead resource planning for SC&M, overseeing maintenance, test, and construction workloads, and guiding budget-aligned decisions.

You will manage a team of Advisors and Specialists, develop annual and monthly plans, and partner with stakeholders to optimize resources and implement reporting tools.

This hybrid role requires California residency, with some travel and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience supervising resource management or business planning activities.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
• BA/BS in Business or related field or equivalent.
• Experience allocating resources to meet budget expectations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise systems of record (e.g., SAP, CMS, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of Advisors and Specialists to develop and manage annual and monthly workload plans for SC&M.
• Build relationships across SC&M to provide workload visibility and improve workflows.
• Manage reporting on workload progression vs plan.
• Collaborate with leaders to stay within approved budgets while executing workload.
• Advance tools and processes for inter-departmental reporting and metrics building.
• Provide strategy, coaching, and salary administration for staff.
• Ensure protection of assets and data with highest standards of conduct and integrity.
