Job summary

You will ensure safety, compliance, and thorough planning across mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological systems. Responsibilities include leading step-by-step work instructions, managing package priorities, and ensuring regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years related experience.
• Broad experience with work control, materials management, and mechanical maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of lock-out/tag-out policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safety and security are a primary responsibility for all Laboratory employees.
• Prepares, reviews, and issues work packages for complex activities in unique facilities.
• Analyzes time and material requirements for complex work activities.
• Prepares specifications for materials and labor estimates for complex activities.
• Leads development of step-by-step work instructions for complex activities.
• Manages and expedites priority of work packages.
• Prepares isolation/de-energization instructions for systems per procedures.
• Manages administrative work control activities such as permitting and records management.
• Adheres to regulatory guidance specific to work control and planning.
• Ensures work control results meet quality specifications and are completed to requirements.
