Job summary

Centric Brands is seeking a Senior Women's RTW Designer to lead the seasonal design process from concept through pre-production. You will craft elevated woven apparel, including jackets, tops, dresses, skirts, and pants, and manage cross-functional workflows with Creative, Merchandising, and Technical Design.

Ideal candidates have 7-10 years in women's ready-to-wear, strong woven knowledge, and advanced skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in women's ready-to-wear design, woven categories emphasized.
• Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, patternmaking, and fit.
• Experience in contemporary or premium apparel market.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM, and MS Office.
• Strong trend awareness with ability to translate market insights into commercial products.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for product with attention to color, proportion, fabrication, and styling.

Responsibilities

• Drive seasonal design process from concept through pre-production.
• Develop women's woven assortments including jackets, tops, dresses, skirts, and pants.
• Create technical sketches in Illustrator and prepare specification packages.
• Collaborate with Technical Design on prototype reviews, fit, and construction details.
• Oversee sample development with mills, trim vendors, and factories to achieve quality and fit.
• Maintain fabric, trim, and color libraries; source innovative materials.
