Job summary

Centric Brands Inc. is seeking an experienced designer for women's ready-to-wear to bridge concept development and production. You will translate ideas into technical flats and manage tech packs, overseeing sample development with mills and factories.

The role collaborates with the Creative Director, Merchandising, Production, and vendors to hit lead times, margins, and seasonal line plans. Proficiency in Illustrator, PLM, and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 5+ years experience in women's ready-to-wear design across all categories.
• Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, patternmaking principles, and fit.
• Bonus: sweater design and knitwear construction experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Seasonal Concept & Trend Development: research trends, build mood boards, color stories, and design concepts.
• Design & Product Creation: develop women's woven assortments from concept through pre-production; create technical sketches and specs.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: work with Production, Merchandising, and vendors to align line plans and ensure feasibility.
• Calendar & Process Management: manage design deliverables, milestones, and approvals.
