Job summary

NFI in Austin, Texas seeks a Senior Technical Trainer to lead complex WMS training initiatives and align programs with operational objectives. You will mentor other trainers, design scalable training models, and ensure governance and effectiveness across the network.

The role requires strong instructional design, facilitation, and collaboration with leadership to improve system adoption and training outcomes. Up to 75% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in adult learning or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in warehouse operations, WMS, or supply chain systems training.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills in diverse groups.
• Working knowledge of ADDIE and e-learning tooling.
• Ability to travel up to 75% to warehouse sites during implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead training for large or complex WMS implementations.
• Define training frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
• Establish scalable models such as train-the-trainer or superuser programs.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and other training documentation.
• Measure training effectiveness using metrics and frameworks.
• Mentor and guide junior trainers in development and delivery.
• Partner with operations to drive adoption and training readiness.
