Job summary

Avetix Engineering in Austin is seeking an experienced Wireless Test Engineer to join a growing EMC testing lab. This hands-on role requires a strong background in wireless/radio compliance testing and the ability to work independently from day one.

You will test Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RF, and FCC Part 90/80 compliance, participate in expanding into cellular and satellite testing, and collaborate with the EMC team to build the wireless capability.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on wireless/radio compliance testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies and RF test methods.
• Experience with FCC and international wireless standards.
• Practical experience with Bluetooth, WLAN/Wi-Fi.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on compliance testing of wireless and radio-enabled products.
• Conduct Bluetooth/Bluetooth LE, WLAN/Wi-Fi, RF measurements.
• Ensure FCC requirements including Part 90/80 compliance.
• Set up, execute, analyze, and report test results.
• Troubleshoot and own testing projects.
• Support customers through certification processes.
• Collaborate with EMC team and expand into cellular/satellite testing.
