Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an experienced ATE RF engineer to lead the development and commissioning of RF test systems for space communication platforms. You will own DFM/DFT inputs, coordinate with R&D, and ensure RF KPIs are measured and reported, bridging production, ATE and engineering teams.

The role involves hands-on calibration, qualification and troubleshooting, with a focus on maintaining high-quality RF measurements and reliable test workflows within our Midland, Texas facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RF testing experience.
• 3+ years with RF lab test equipment and ATE.
• B.Sc in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Bring up and commission RF ATEs for space platforms.
• Qualify and verify RF ATE operation per spec.
• Report anomalies, outliers and issues promptly.
• Track RF KPI trends and discuss risks.
• Calibrate, qualify and troubleshoot with ATE and R&D teams.
• Collaborate with Production, ATE and HW R&D.
• Improve development and test workflows.
