Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a wireless systems project lead to design and deliver data center communication networks, including DAS, LMR, and wifi. You will coordinate with BIM teams, AHJs, and clients to ensure feasible, compliant and timely designs.

You will leverage iBwave/EDX and other modeling tools, manage budgets and schedules, review drawings, and provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems.
• Experience with LMR, DAS, and site radio systems.
• Proficiency with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner or equivalent modeling tools.
• Familiarity with NFPA 72, 1221, 1225 and FCC parts 20/90.

Responsibilities

• Design Wireless systems in iBwave and EDX.
• Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages.
• Coordinate with AHJ’s, Radio System Owners, and carriers.
• Create or modify DIV 27 specifications.
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
