jjrc is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer Connectivity to cover the Austin, TX or San Jose, CA areas. The role focuses on promoting IP connectivity technologies (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, UWB, 5G) and supporting customers through evaluations, integration, and training.

The candidate will collaborate with sales to identify opportunities, design system architectures, and guide customers from initial inquiry to deployment, traveling frequently within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering (BS/MS EE) or related field.
• 6+ years in wireless tech (5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, UWB) and system/SoC work.
• Willingness to travel across the US and occasional international visits.
• US work authorization (EAD/eligible).

Responsibilities

• Promote wireless connectivity products and address customer questions.
• Drive technical evaluations and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Assist customers with IP integration and provide technical training.
• Support US Sales/BD in penetrating new accounts.
• Build relationships with customer technical teams and management.
• Coordinate across time zones to serve clients effectively.
