Job summary

Eversource is seeking an Electrical/Telecommunications Engineer to design, implement, and support wireless SCADA data telecommunications systems supporting electric operations across MA/CT/NH.

You will plan engineering assignments, coordinate with field teams, and troubleshoot wireless networks to ensure reliable SCADA data delivery. This role requires travel, storm restoration readiness, and collaboration with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least five (5) years of experience in design, implementation and support of wireless SCADA data telecommunications systems.
• Experience with wireless SCADA data telecommunications infrastructure in a utility application using DNP 3.0 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform engineering assignments for wireless SCADA data telecommunications systems.
• Design, implement and operate wireless SCADA data telecom assets and networks to support Electric operations.
• Troubleshoot field device communications and support SCADA system performance improvements.
