Job summary

Trace3 is seeking an engineer for hands-on, onsite wireless network design and installation across North America. The role involves documenting infrastructure, performing RF surveys, configuring devices, and ensuring high customer satisfaction in diverse environments.

The position requires up to 85–90% travel, strong knowledge of Cisco wireless and PoC testing, plus relevant certifications. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 USD with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise-level network design and support.
• Thorough understanding of Ekahau Pro Suite and Sidekick functionality.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ and Cisco CCNA certifications (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Document network infrastructure and design accurately.
• Perform RF design, site surveys, and wireless LAN optimization.
• Plan, engineer, configure, and maintain wireless networks.
• Lead proof-of-concept trials with new technologies.
• Travel domestically up to 85–90% for installations and configurations.
