Silicon Labs is hiring a Senior/ Associate Staff Wireless Embedded Software Engineer in Boston, MA. You will develop foundational embedded software for low-power wireless MCUs and SDKs, owning features from concept through release and supporting long-term maintenance.

You will work on drivers, startup code, timing-sensitive software, and radio control. Collaboration with hardware, silicon, and product teams improves bring-up and software quality.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of embedded software or firmware experience.
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C and/or C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers in resource-constrained real-time environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for low-power wireless MCUs and SDKs.
• Own features from requirements to release and long-term support.
• Build and enhance low-level firmware components and radio control features.
• Debug across software, hardware, and system boundaries using lab tools.
