Silicon Labs in Austin, TX is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, implement, and maintain firmware for wireless radio platforms. You will work with hardware, SDK, validation, and applications teams to deliver high-performance, low-power wireless capabilities across IoT products.

The role emphasizes debugging, testing, and optimization on resource-constrained MCUs, using tools like JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers. A master’s degree and strong C/C++ skills are required.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in embedded software, wireless communications, and low-level system development.
• Academic or project experience in embedded software development using C or C++.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded software features for Silicon Labs wireless radio platforms.
• Design, implement, test, and debug firmware in C/C++ for resource-constrained microcontrollers.
• Support radio-control capabilities, including transmit, receive, power management, timing, and diagnostic features.
• Collaborate with hardware, radio design, SDK, validation, and applications teams to bring new wireless products and features to market.
• Investigate software and hardware integration issues using debuggers, logic analyzers, and other lab tools.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, automated testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
