Job summary

Resonant Link Medical in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to own embedded implementation for customer programs across MCUs and hardware architectures. You will develop low‑level firmware and drivers, work hands‑on in the lab, and deliver reliable, verified systems.

You will collaborate with platform, electrical, systems, and test engineers to document decisions, drive integration, and accelerate troubleshooting while ensuring high quality in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven

Qualifications

• Strong experience in embedded software and firmware development delivering working, verified systems.
• Proficiency in embedded C and writing maintainable production code.
• Solid understanding of MCU peripherals, schematics, datasheets, and timing diagrams.
• Hands-on bring-up, debugging, and verification with oscilloscopes and debuggers.
• Experience with RTOS-based and bare-metal systems and resource management.
• Ability to evaluate different MCUs and hardware platforms quickly.
• Experience implementing hardware‑software interfaces and device drivers.
• Excellent documentation and clear communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own embedded implementation for customer programs from requirements to delivery.
• Adapt software across customer applications and bring up new MCUs in RTOS environments.
• Develop low-level firmware, hardware interfaces, and communication peripherals.
• Hands-on lab work to bring up, test, and debug embedded systems.
• Resolve complex hardware‑firmware issues through root‑cause analysis.
• Produce clear technical documentation: requirements, interface definitions, test methods.
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to meet program goals.
• Work with platform/test engineers to apply core architecture and build test tooling.
• Identify reusable software, tools, and practices across programs.
