Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Wire Services Manager, Sr to lead the Wire Services organization within Payment Operations. You will manage wire processing, SWIFT, Fedwire, and vendor relationships while strengthening risk controls and operational excellence.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in banking operations, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in regulatory compliance and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, operations, risk management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years of banking, payment operations, wire operations, or related financial services experience.
• Leadership experience managing professional employees, supervisors, and multi-location teams.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international wire processing, SWIFT, Fedwire, payment authentication, exception processing, balancing, and reconciliation.
• Experience with operational risk management, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and vendor management.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret operational and financial data, influence stakeholders, drive change, and improve operational performance.
• Experience with payment modernization initiatives, automation, process redesign, workflow optimization, and ISO 20022 preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and reporting/dashboard tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wire Services organization and maintain accountability for operational performance, service quality, employee development, and risk management.
• Oversee daily processing of incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers, SWIFT and Fedwire operations.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational, fraud, compliance, and reputational risks.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and monitor contracts, SLAs, and risk requirements.
• Lead automation, workflow redesign, and modernization initiatives; develop dashboards and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Commercial, Wealth, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to support strategic goals and business continuity.
