Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Wire Harness Engineer for Air Dominance and Strike to own end-to-end harness design, wiring, grounding, shielding and signal integrity for rugged military applications. You will collaborate with mechanical, software, product management, and quality teams to meet system-level electrical requirements.

The role requires 3+ years’ experience, familiarity with NX Cabling and MIL-STD, and eligibility for a US security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years designing electrical harnessing for rugged applications.
Experience with NX Cabling and Siemens Capital Harness.
Able to read and generate 2D formboard drawings.
Familiar with CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and 1553 interfaces.
Knowledge of MIL-STD requirements and harness standards.
Strong organization and communication; eligible for US security clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems; represent harness discipline on projects.
Plan, design, and develop harnesses to meet technical requirements.
Select connectors, back-shells, wires, shielding, and cables per environmental needs.
Create harness diagrams and wire diagrams for production release.
Participate in design reviews and drive design decisions.
Prepare harness assembly instructions and test procedures per standards.
Guide electrical team on system requirements from stakeholders.
Support fast-paced development, deployments, and customer hardware.
