Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. seeks a Senior Wire Harness Design Engineer to own critical power, digital, analog, and RF interconnects. You’ll develop schematics, route cables, select connectors, and prepare harness drawings in a collaborative space with engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities span from initial specs to integration and test, with involvement in design reviews to boost performance and reliability of space hardware.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
5 years of industry or university research experience.
Proficiency with harness design tools like RapidHarness.
Understanding of impedance, shielding, EMC considerations.
Experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads).
Knowledge of IPC-WHMA-A-620 and ISO 9001.
Aerospace industry experience.

Responsibilities

Lead wire harness design from schematic to harness assembly drawings.
Own cable routing, connector selection and harness documentation.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical engineers and technicians.
Participate in design reviews to improve performance and reliability.
Define specifications and support integration and test.
