Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a highly skilled Technician IV in Winston-Salem, NC. You will develop and optimize Wire EDM machining processes, read complex drawings, and work with Tool Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to deliver precision components.

Expect hands-on setup, programming, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a minimum 5 years of advanced machining or an associate degree with relevant experience, strong GD&T, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or associate degree with significant relevant experience.
Extensive hands-on Wire EDM setup, programming and operation.
Ability to develop Wire EDM processes from drawings and CAD models.
Experience machining complex geometries to tight tolerances.
Ability to read GD&T and inspect with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot Wire EDM equipment for complex tooling.
Develop Wire EDM processes from drawings and CAD models.
Create machining strategies for tight tolerances and hard materials.
Perform multi-pass and skim-cut operations to meet specs.
Verify programs and perform first-piece inspections and adjustments.
Document programs, tooling needs, and process changes.
Collaborate with Tool Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality.
