Job summary

Laboratory Testing Inc. is seeking an experienced Wire EDM Operator (EDM Technician Level III) for 2nd shift in Hatfield, PA. You will set up, program, and operate WEDM machines to meet tight tolerances on customer parts, with a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule and a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities include fixture development, process optimization, and documentation for traceability, while collaborating with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and ensure safe, timely results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four to five years of EDM machining experience preferred.
• Ability to create and edit EDM programs from drawings and job requirements.
• Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring instruments and verify dimensions to 0.0001 inch.

Responsibilities

• Performs all EDM machine operations, including setup for short- and long-run work.
• Develops, builds, and sets up fixtures for complex parts and coordinates with leadership/engineering.
• Creates and edits EDM programs from drawings for new or complex parts.
• Troubleshoots EDM issues and helps maintain quality, traceability, and documentation.
• Supports QA, documentation, and calibration of measuring tools.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and follows safety rules.
