Job summary

LSI SOLUTIONS® in Victor, NY is seeking a Wire EDM Programmer/Operator I, II, III for overnight shifts (10pm-6:30am). You will program, set up, and operate wire EDM machines and related tools to produce precision components from prints and CAD data.

Levels I-III require reading prints, GD&T, basic shop math, and maintaining safety; advancement with experience programming with Fanuc controls and CAM-I. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school preferred.
• 0-2 years of machine operation experience (Level I).
• 3-5 years programming wire EDMs (Level II).
• 6+ years programming, setting-up and operating wire EDMs (Level III).

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate wire EDM machines (Fanuc controls).
• Read part prints and GD&T; verify with inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot tool paths and make offset adjustments.
• Support prototyping and engineering during development cycles.
