Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Lancaster, South Carolina team onsite. The role emphasizes monitoring, server management, and strategic projects such as Nutanix migration and IAM tooling updates.

You will work in a collaborative environment, handling patching, health checks, and performance improvements while engaging with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure modernization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional IT experience in systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with server patching processes and automation tools like NinjaOne.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware/Nutanix).
• Understanding IAM concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• 40% Monitoring system and network health; respond to performance issues.
• 30% Supporting and maintaining server infrastructure, including patching and updates.
• 20% Project work (Nutanix migration, IAM tooling changes, process improvements).
• 10% Escalated or ticket-based support tasks.
