Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join the infrastructure team in Bluffton, SC. The role is full-time and on-site, offering broad ownership of Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, 365, VMware, Fortinet, and data center operations.

You will collaborate with executive leadership, lead engineer, and security teams to drive modernization, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery initiatives in a lean IT environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years as senior resource, lead engineer, or sysadmin.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience.
• Azure/hybrid cloud experience and Entra ID administration.
• Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• VMware virtualization experience.
• Fortinet firewall administration and security management.
• Enterprise networking including VPNs, switching, routing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize mission-critical infrastructure.
• Provide technical ownership and project leadership.
• Partner with executive leadership and Lead Engineer on strategy and roadmaps.
