Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Windows Software Engineer to join our Zero Trust team. You will be working on the Zero Trust desktop client, which protects corporate devices by securely and privately sending traffic from those devices to Cloudflare's global network, which can apply advanced web filtering and advanced Zero Trust policies.

In this role, you will predominantly be using Rust along platform-native languages and APIs to implement high-performance networking code that runs on multiple

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Windows internals and kernel-mode concepts.
• Experience with high-quality, testable, well-documented code.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, QUIC, etc.).
• Experience in low-level Windows driver development is a plus.
• Proven ability to debug complex, cross-team issues.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of the Zero Trust desktop client.
• Develop high-performance networking code across desktop platforms using Rust and platform-native languages.
• Improve code quality, create robust, testable foundations, and maintain thorough documentation.
