Job summary
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to provide advanced technical support for enterprise Windows systems in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment. This on-site role requires an active DOE Q or Top Secret clearance with SCI access and duties within the IT Operations division of the Computing Directorate.
The successful candidate will perform troubleshooting, patching, automation with PowerShell, and collaborate on cybersecurity,
Qualifications
- Active DOE Q clearance (or active Top Secret) with SCI access.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
- Substantial experience administering Windows Server environments and related infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows infrastructure and enterprise services.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and administration for Windows Server, AD, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Install, configure, patch, harden, and secure Windows servers and services.
- Administer enterprise backup systems and recovery validation.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administration and monitoring.
- Support cybersecurity operations and ATO activities.
- Provide technical guidance to Tier 1/2 staff and maintain SOPs.
