Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer 2 to advance the sensor (lightweight agent) on Windows OS platforms. You will own core feature design across file system, memory, process, and networking, with shared components across Linux and Mac. Join a team driving innovation in the CTIO group and help deliver cutting-edge security solutions.

The role is hybrid, based in Redmond, WA with multiple U.S. and Canada office locations, requiring 2 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++, Windows OS kernel and driver development.
• Extensive understanding of Windows OS internals.
• Proven experience debugging memory corruption issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Demonstrated experience delivering major features with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and mentor in a geographically distributed team.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and strategic initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features.
• Guide cross-platform delivery for Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Own features from design to delivery, including sprint demos.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration across locations.
