Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Windows Content Development team in a hybrid role. You will design and implement detection logic for Windows OS, researching malicious activity and enhancing Falcon Sensor capabilities with C++ and Python.

You will work across the full development lifecycle, ensure secure coding practices, and mentor teammates while delivering production-ready features. This role offers collaboration across multiple U.S. and Canada locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing and delivering high-quality Windows software in C/C++ or other low-level programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience or interest in threat detection, malware analysis, or related security topics.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS internals, components, APIs, and design.
• Team player with ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic and systems leveraging CrowdStrike to detect attackers and stop breaches.
• Research techniques for detecting malicious activity and perform reverse engineering as needed.
• Leverage C++, Python and other tools to extend Falcon Sensor capabilities.
• Own features from design to production delivery with secure coding and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and support customers as needed.
