Job summary

CrowdStrike in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a hands-on software engineer for the Falcon Host sensor team. You will help architect, build, and improve next‑generation Anti-Virus and EDR software across Windows, Mac, and Linux, contributing to AI‑driven security decisions.

You will collaborate with distributed teams, own features from design to delivery, participate in sprint demos, and mentor others while applying deep C++ and OS internals knowledge to deliver scalable, high‑performance systems.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge with C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development.
• Strong low-level OS internals in Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.
• Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance.
• Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases.
• Lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide partnership on the sensor development team involved in architecture and strategy for next-gen Anti-Virus and EDR software.
• Develop new product concepts.
• Support cross-platform software design for Windows, Mac, Linux.
• Own features from design to delivery and participate in sprint demos.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations.
