Job summary

1Password is seeking a Senior Developer for the Device Security squad within its Product Security team. The role focuses on building next-generation Windows security features, shared security-critical libraries, and secure development practices across 1Password applications, with a remote opportunity in the US and Canada.

The candidate will implement security features for Windows, develop cross-platform libraries, and mentor teammates while collaborating with Design and QA teams to ensure secure

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development with a security angle.
• Experience with Windows security and encryption techniques.
• Proficient in Rust with Windows FFI.
• Experience with Windows Hello, BitLocker, Secure Boot.
• Strong security knowledge across cryptography and access control.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Windows-focused security features.
• Develop reusable security libraries.
• Plan and scope security features with tasks and estimates.
• Code, test, and maintain production software.
• Lead security development and mentor peers.
• Collaborate across hybrid core architecture (Design, QA).
