Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Windows Kernel Developer to join the Data Protection team. You will design and implement data protection features spanning kernel-mode and user-mode components on Windows, ensuring high performance and robust security.

You'll work in an Agile environment, own features from design to delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations, including Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Windows kernel/user-mode development in C/C++.
• Strong C++ coding skills.
• Experience with Windows minifilter drivers.
• Experience in both kernel and user mode IPC.
• Familiarity with kernel debugging tools.
• Proven ability to apply AI concepts to development workflows.
• Experience applying AI to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data protection features spanning kernel-mode and user-mode components on Windows.
• Implement new data protection capabilities for data access and transfer on the endpoint.
• Build AI-aware detection and protection logic.
• Own features from design to delivery, including post-ship support.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams across locations.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Other projects as assigned.
