Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Windows Kernel Developer to build data protection features across kernel and user-mode components on Windows. You will own features from design to delivery in a hybrid role, collaborating with teams across locations.

You will apply AI-aware approaches to detect and protect data access, and contribute to a fast, scalable security platform while shipping frequently. This is a high-impact role shaping data protection for endpoints.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in kernel/user mode Windows development.
• Strong C/C++ coding skills and modern Windows development experience.
• Experience with Windows kernel-to-user space IPC and debugging tools.
• Proven ability to develop high-quality, maintainable code and ship features.
• Experience building AI-aware security solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop kernel-mode and user-mode data protection functionality on Windows.
• Implement data access and transfer protections across endpoint scenarios.
• Build AI-aware detection and protection logic for AI agent interactions with data.
• Own features from design through delivery and post-ship support.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams and leverage AI-assisted development tools.
• Contribute to a fast, scalable security platform with frequent releases.
• Address customer issues and participate in ongoing maintenance.
